Day 3 Reflections

I found for my PLN new links on Pinterest with color - coding activities, discovered information on www.crayola.com, and worksheets on www.superteacher.com to use in my class.
Flipped Classroom: I had my father record a video and I have had major issues downloading the document. I am not understanding how to download to YouTube and am a little nervous to have it out in the open like this. I have worked from 8-4 on this and very overwhelming. My lesson and student same shows the level of remembering and applying to target the concept of color -coding sentences through parts of speech review.

Overcoming Barriers needs to focus on Time and Patience. Finding time to apply in class and also the patience with students who are at different levels of experience with technology, Find videos to go over the concept, use as a bellringer. These videos can be just 2 3 minutes short to focus on your topic of the day. www.noredink.com

Crushing Barriers in a classroom setting

Within the amount of time a teacher has to cover the TEKS required for their subject, it seems very overwhelming to focus on technology in the four areas:

TIME
PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF STUDENT AND TEACHER
ABILITY
PATIENCE

I feel as if technology is excited and interested in certain areas of life, but it is difficult to cover the required TEKS and curriculum for each student and focus on the silly STAAR prep in 45-55 minutes per class. I would like to find ways to balance out and tidder todder the time management.
